Look at this beautiful baby! Meet my new nephew Egan. He is hiding his dark hair under that hat. Just beautiful! Here he is only a few hours old. I am sure there will be many updated pictures to come.

As I said in my last post, my daughter Berlin is now a whole ONE year old. Here are a couple pictures that I took yesterday and one from her birthday. I was getting harassed for not updating family with wallets...they are tired of showing her 6 month picture so I got on the ball.

A Modern Bride.

The past couple of weeks have been nice except for the change of weather. Living in Michigan my whole life, one would think I would be used to this...but every year I am disappointed when spring appears and then disappears bringing more weeks of dreary cold and snow. My hopes are high that it will soon be spring again because I have several fun shoots coming up!

Recently, we celebrated my daughter Berlin's first birthday! Time sure flies! And it reminds me that I should probably work out. Just having a baby is no longer an excuse! :) Although last year would be Berlin's actual first Easter, this year she was able to appreciate it since she was able to eat the yummy Easter dinner that my mom made and hunt for eggs (filled with goldfish crackers). Pictures will be posted soon. Too much fun!

This past weekend I had a last minute shoot with Melanie (below). She is entering a contest for Modern Bride magazine and needed some nice pictures to send in. I was glad to have the chance to take pictures of her...she is so much fun and pretty too!

a little bit spring.

Yesterday was an amazing day for mid-March in Michigan. Over 70 degrees! I took advantage of the nice weather and headed out to the park. It was a lot later than intended by the time we got there, the sun just about to go down. But I managed to get some wonderful pictures! Exploring the area we also found some really nice spots including this little pond with geese. After it was dark, we started to head back to our car and we came upon about 9 or 10 deer. It was a pleasant spring night to be out taking pictures....here are the results!

300 Reasons.

I could give a number of reasons why this weekend was a good one. First, I was able to get out of the house to watch a movie. Second, the movie I saw was amazing! 300 was really just one of those movies that I was happy to see on a big screen. At first I wasn't sure I would like it because violence and wars aren't really my choice features of films but it was done really well. Mainly, I loved the look....the style was fantastic. The characters were developed and the violence was offset by some humor that was actually funny.

This weekend I was also able to take pictures for this little cutie! He turns one next weekend.

At first he was afraid to touch the mysterious goo.






















Then he got into it...that goo tastes good!
